The packaging industry is always going through changes, and product manufacturers are always seeking new ways to stay atop of trends. At Create It Packaging, we strive to give our clients the most up-to-date options for their packaging needs. Check out three packaging trends that are here to stay:
- Less is more. An estimated 77% of the developed world called for more simplicity in a 2014 study conducted by packaging manufacturer Tetra Pack and marketer IPSOS. Push the bright colors and bold fonts to the side, it’s time to say hello to simple. When you know you have a good product and you want to convey that to your customers, flashy isn’t necessarily your only option. Using simple fonts, basic graphics and neutral color palettes gives off a sense of class. Not only is it easy on the eyes but it allows more room to express the important characteristics of your product, such as its quality.
- Be earthy. Environmentally friendly packaging is not so much a trend as it is a way of packaging life. We utilize packaging technology and printing processes that reduce the amount of toxic materials that ends up in landfills. These methods bring the product to its usual consumers but also attract more clients and consumers, alike, because of their environmentally friendly components. What’s more, packaging industry research shows that there are organic materials which will be used more and more in production, putting petroleum-based materials out of existence by 2025.
- Add a personal touch. It is always nice to feel like your product was made just for you. Using natural, craft materials for packaging not only adds a personal touch but provides a clean-cut look, adding class to simplicity. Click here to view our Direct Printing Onto Craft Material.
